Wicket belongs to the chemical group Phenoxypropionic. It is a selective, post emergence systemic herbicide.

Trade Name: Wicket

Active Ingredient: Clodinafop-propargyl

Formulation: 15% WP

Features Benefits
Compatibility Excellent mixing partner for a wide range of complementary herbicides.

Mode of Action

Wicket is absorbed by the leaves and is rapidly translocated to the growing points of leaves and stems. It interferes with the production of fatty acids needed for the plant growth in susceptible grassy weeds. Depending on the species, growing conditions and crop competition, leaves and growing points turn yellow within one to three weeks after application. Further colour changes and loss of vigour will be observed, followed by a browning and complete control within 3 to 5 weeks after application.

Method of application

Apply 30-35 days after sowing wheat when grassy weeds are of 3-4 leaf stage.
